At Wonderful Kitchens we are well known for our outstanding Provincial Kitchen designs, with two different styles being a Traditional Hand Painted French Provincial or the Provincial Style with modern elements In a new home these two traditional designs can work just as well as more contemporary ones, as long as the style complements the interior design of the rest of the house. I’m really not sure at this point which way I will go… I’m leaning towards the Lowe’s Creative Ideas Kitchen Set or Gracie’s Original Play Kitchen from Ana White Homemaker, but if I could find the right piece of furniture (old tv entertainment cabinet) I might be persuaded to repurpose one!

I decided against a dark green hedge which would have been a little stiff, formal and monochromatic. Almost every wall in the house, including those covered with barn-inspired board-and-batten paneling, is painted the same shade of white, and most of the furniture is covered in white or neutral linen.
Tucked in the hallway is the stacked washer/dryer, bulkhead cabinets for additional storage and yet – ANOTHER window. When we replaced our door fronts, we realized that the old white ones had yellowed a bit, which we hadn’t noticed until we got the new ones. The credenza is painted Clark+Kensington’s – chalk white and the inside is painted a deep shade called – balmy night.
