The main output of the project is the creation of an online platform – a dedicated website – that will host an interactive map of the Italian design in Vancouver.italian design

So, before we get underway, I’d like to share with you a few of the driftwood lamp creations that we have recently produced here in our Skipjack design studio located in Olde Towne Portsmouth, Virginia. We decided to design and produce, together with the Nike team, tailored textures that were applied as lampshades. Linda’s design work blended the wonderful period items that I love to live with together with a liveable space with traditional upholstered (comfortable) seating furniture and an eye-pleasing color palette that brought it all together.

It’s already September which means the year is winding down, but this month you can take advantage of our proximity to the Industrial Designers Prize – Slow Design Exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York.
