How To Patch Holes In Drywall

For most dwelling house owners, there may be nothing more annoying than cracks or harm to their drywall. Continue cutting down the drywall adjacent to the studs until your complete part is removed. To restore cracked mesh tape, tape over with paper tape and mud. Fill the outlet with plaster compound and sand the encircling paint to roughen it up. Spread drywall compound and add mesh. If the gap between the present and new drywall is larger than 1/eight inch, use fast-drying joint compound, also referred to as mud to fill the hole. Decide whether you need to repaint the entire wall or simply contact up patched areas.
